Hi all. I know this may seem like a silly question but Google has failed me and I haven't been able to find this out. If a motherboard says it's quad-SLI supported, does this mean that it will only work with 4 GPUs in SLI or will it also work in 2/3 way SLI? Thanks.

If it says quad SLI it means you can connect up to 4 cards.

Heh, that is a nice board alright. I wonder how Windows would see it though. I mean, 2 separate CPUs in 2 different sockets, how would it interface with it?

PCs with multi-core processors:
Windows 7 was designed to work with today's multi-core processors. All 32-bit versions of Windows 7 can support up to 32 processor cores, while 64‑bit versions can support up to 256 processor cores.
PCs with multiple processors (CPUs):
Commercial servers, workstations, and other high-end PCs may have more than one physical processor. Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate allow for two physical processors, providing the best performance on these computers. Windows 7 Starter, Home Basic, and Home Premium will recognize only one physical processor.
